News for the Youth of Karakalpakstan: An Additional 10,000 Quotas Allocated This Year

Thanks to the care and attention of our esteemed President, broad opportunities are being created for the youth of Karakalpakstan.

In particular, in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 213 of August 31, 2022, additional quotas are allocated every year for young people who permanently reside in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and have graduated from general secondary, specialized secondary, and vocational educational institutions, enabling them to pursue studies on a tuition-fee basis.

This year, taking into account the demand for qualified personnel and the number of required specialties in the cities and districts of the republic, an additional 10,000 quotas have been allocated. Specifically:

• 7,000 quotas for applicants entering higher educational institutions in the regions of the country;

• 2,000 quotas for universities in Karakalpakstan;

• 1,000 quotas for universities in Tashkent city.

Undoubtedly, the allocation of additional quotas plays an important role in the training of highly qualified specialists needed for our republic. This, in turn, serves as yet another example of the special opportunities created by our esteemed President for the youth of Karakalpakstan.
