Key Events of the International Forum Have Begun
On October 5–6, the International Forum of Central Asian Educators is taking place in the Republic of Karakalpakstan under the motto: “Educators of Central Asia — One Region, One Voice, One Strength.”
The forum brings together representatives of the Ministries of Education of Central Asian countries (Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan), as well as education specialists from Azerbaijan and Turkey, teachers, and members of the public.
As part of the forum’s program, participants visited the Chimbay district, where they took part in an event organized by the district administration. Guests were introduced to the rich national traditions, cuisine, and crafts of the Karakalpak people.
The cultural heritage and traditional values of the Karakalpak people made a strong impression on the visitors.
Later, forum participants arrived at the “Kara Tereng” tourist center in the Takhtakupyr district, where they are taking part in a series of cultural and educational activities.
Special interest was shown in the facilities created within the ethno-tourism zone, the process of erecting yurts, and the authentic desert atmosphere. Guests were also impressed by the displays of Karakalpak national art and the ethnographic performances organized in the area.
In the afternoon, training seminars for teachers are scheduled to take place.
