A New Sanatorium Opens in Bozatau
On 17 October of this year, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with representatives of Uzbekistan’s trade unions.
The event was attended via videoconference by Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan Amanbay Orynbaev, Presidential Adviser T. Khudaybergenov, Chairman of the Council of Ministers F. Ermanov, as well as representatives of the broader public.
As part of the meeting, a ceremonial opening took place for a new sanatorium in Bozatau, built in the remote Bozatau district on the instructions of the President. The construction was financed by the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan in the amount of 123 billion soums.
In his speech at the ceremony, the Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes highlighted the large-scale work carried out in recent years to ensure the well-being of the population, create comfortable living conditions, and strengthen public health. He noted that residents, who are already feeling the positive effects of these transformations, have expressed their sincere gratitude.
It is worth noting that the modern six-story sanatorium, designed to accommodate 200 people, has created more than 100 new jobs, providing employment opportunities for local residents. Undoubtedly, this healthcare facility will serve for many years to restore and strengthen the health of citizens.
