October 21 — The Day the Uzbek Language Was Granted the Status of the State Language
Dear friends,
On behalf of the Jokargy Kenes and the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, we sincerely congratulate you on today’s holiday — October 21, the Day the Uzbek Language Was Granted the Status of the State Language.
As we all know, for every person, their Motherland, where they were born, and their parents, who gave them life, are sacred and priceless. Equally precious is one’s native language — the language that defines their identity and spiritual world.
The establishment of October 21 as the Day of the Uzbek Language became a memorable and historic event. In order to strengthen the status and prestige of the state language, a number of important decrees, resolutions, and legislative acts have been adopted.
The state language plays a unifying role in consolidating the multiethnic people of our country on the path toward the prosperity of the Motherland, fostering in the hearts of our compatriots a sense of shared homeland and common destiny.
Dear compatriots,
Once again, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all of you on October 21 — the Day the Uzbek Language Was Granted the Status of the State Language. I wish you strong health, well-being to your families, and great success in your noble endeavors for the further prosperity of our Motherland.
Amanbay Orynbaev
Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan
