The 36th Anniversary of the Uzbek Language Day Celebrated Nationwide
Today, a solemn ceremony dedicated to October 21 — the Day of the Uzbek Language was held at the Berdakh Karakalpak State Academic Musical Theatre.
The event was opened by Amanbay Orynbaev, Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, who warmly congratulated all participants on this significant occasion.
It was noted that respect for one’s native language is an expression of care aimed at the spiritual enrichment of our multinational people, as well as the preservation and glorification of national values.
In recent years, special attention has been paid to enhancing the prestige of the Uzbek language as the state language, and large-scale efforts have been made in this direction.
Of particular importance is the fact that in-depth study of the Uzbek language, its comprehensive development on a scientific basis, expansion of its use, and training of qualified philologists have reached a new stage — a vivid reflection of the special attention given to the state language in our country.
It was emphasized that the purity of the state language determines the development of our Homeland and the future of our people. The Uzbek language plays an important role in instilling patriotism among the younger generation, as well as in preserving national customs and traditions.
The event highlighted the great significance of the state language in our daily lives.
The celebration continued with a concert program prepared by cultural and artistic performers.
