Meeting Held with a Delegation from the Federal Republic of Germany

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan F. Ermanov and Deputy Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan R. Nurazizov held a meeting with a delegation led by Hermann Färber, Chairman of the Committee on Food and Agriculture of the Bundestag of Germany.

At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Ermanov provided detailed information on the wide-ranging initiatives being carried out under the leadership of the esteemed President of Uzbekistan to enhance the investment attractiveness of Karakalpakstan, support entrepreneurship, and develop the agricultural sector.

It was also noted that the relations between Uzbekistan and Germany, which continue to strengthen with the support of the leaders of both countries, are successfully developing in the Karakalpakstan region as well.

During the talks, the parties discussed measures being implemented in Karakalpakstan to promote agricultural development — in particular, support for farming and livestock enterprises, projects for the production of organic products, promising areas of cooperation, and the introduction of advanced German agricultural practices.

In turn, the German delegation expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and emphasized the importance of further expanding cooperation and making effective use of existing opportunities.

At the conclusion of the meeting, it was reaffirmed that the leadership of the Republic of Karakalpakstan is fully committed to strengthening partnership relations and will support any initiatives aimed at developing mutual cooperation.
