Delegation of Karakalpakstan Participates in the Council of Regions of Uzbekistan and Russia
On October 22, the second meeting of the Council of Regions of Uzbekistan and Russia was held in the Moscow Region of the Russian Federation.
The Russian delegation was headed by Denis Manturov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, while the Uzbek delegation was led by Jamshid Khodjaev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
This event once again confirmed the high level of strategic partnership and alliance between the two countries.
The delegation of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, headed by Amanbay Orynbaev, Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, took part in the forum.
In his address, Mr. Orynbaev emphasized that in recent years, under the special attention of the esteemed President, the investment attractiveness of Karakalpakstan has significantly increased. He noted that favorable conditions for entrepreneurs have been created, and active support for business projects has reached a new level.
The forum also discussed the expansion of trade and economic cooperation, industrial collaboration, agricultural partnership, and the strengthening of cultural and humanitarian ties.
Particular attention was paid to the development of e-commerce, the establishment of joint industrial enterprises, the creation of wholesale and logistics centers, and the implementation of a dual education system to train specialists in demand on the labor market.
As a result of the event, more than 30 documents were signed covering trade, economic, scientific, technical, and humanitarian cooperation between the regions of Russia and Uzbekistan.
In particular, the delegation of Karakalpakstan signed cooperation agreements with the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Republic of Buryatia, and several other constituent entities of the Russian Federation.
