Review of Ongoing Efforts to Improve Public Welfare
The Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Amanbay Orinbaev, reviewed the activities being carried out in the Muynak District aimed at improving the living conditions of the local population.
The visit began with an inspection of the construction works to improve the water supply system in Muynak District, implemented in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 4271. The project is being carried out with the support of the Asian Development Bank, which allocated USD 8.2 million for its implementation.
Next, the Chairman visited the land plots of the Forestry Department, where he instructed responsible officials to prepare land and seedlings for autumn tree planting and to organize the process at a high level. He also reviewed the preparations for autumn greenhouse planting at the “ARAL AGRO CLUSTER” enterprise, noting that successful use of agricultural lands in such remote areas as a source of income should serve as an example for others.
Mr. Orynbaev also inspected operations at a gas well located in the “Uchsay” Citizens’ Assembly and met personally with servicemen of the Construction Battalion of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, discussing their ongoing work.
In addition, he visited a newly opened bakery in the Dostlik mahalla and instructed responsible officials to provide comprehensive support to entrepreneurs in expanding their business activities.
Later, a meeting was held with street leaders, respected elders, and senior women of the district to discuss and identify unresolved issues related to improving citizens’ living conditions and to find practical solutions for them.
The visit concluded with a joint working session involving local leaders and heads of relevant agencies, during which they critically reviewed key issues of the socio-economic development of Muynak District.
