The Pride of the Party — Honoring Those Devoted to the Prosperity of the Motherland
A ceremonial event dedicated to the 34th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan (PDPU) was held in the city of Nukus, organized by the Karakalpakstan Republican Council of the Party.
The event was attended by Rajapbay Nurazizov, Deputy Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
Also present were employees of the Karakalpakstan Republican organization of the party, veterans and activists who have long worked within the party system, as well as representatives of the mass media.
The event was opened and hosted by Khalilla Yeshimbetov, Chairman of the Karakalpakstan Republican Council of the PDPU and head of the party’s faction in the Jokargy Kenes.
In his speech, Rajapbay Nurazizov warmly congratulated all participants on the party’s 34th anniversary, highlighting the important role of the PDPU in advancing democratic reforms, building a strong civil society, and protecting the interests of the population.
It was especially noted that the party, remaining true to the principles of social justice, continues to actively support low-income and vulnerable groups of the population.
During the ceremony, veterans, deputies, and activists who have contributed to strengthening the authority of the party and actively participated in the country’s socio-political life were recognized for their service. On this occasion, several participants were awarded the “Pride of the People’s Democratic Party of Uzbekistan” badge, established by the Central Council of the Party.
The festive gathering continued in a spirit of friendship, open dialogue, and unity — over a cup of tea, participants discussed the future goals and priorities of the party, as well as its ongoing efforts to defend the interests of the people.
The event concluded with heartfelt musical performances by artists from the Department of Culture, who filled the hall with a joyful and festive atmosphere.
