Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes Meets with the Ambassador of France to Uzbekistan
Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan Amanbay Orinbaev held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to Uzbekistan, Mr. Walid Fouque.
During the conversation, it was noted that, as a result of mutual cooperation between France and the Republic of Uzbekistan, a number of large-scale projects are being implemented, and on this basis, interaction with the Republic of Karakalpakstan is also being developed.
The Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes provided detailed information about the wide-ranging reforms carried out in recent years in our country, as well as measures aimed at the socio-economic development of the region, improving its investment attractiveness, and raising the standard of living of the population.
The Ambassador, in turn, noted that France is well aware of Karakalpakstan’s culture, tourism potential, and environmental situation, and emphasized that the French Culture Month being held in Nukus contributes to strengthening cultural ties.
During the meeting, the parties discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations between France and Karakalpakstan, as well as the development of cooperation in the trade, economic, social, educational, cultural, and tourism spheres.
The Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes also briefed the guest on the progress of investment projects and the involvement of foreign partners in the republic.
Amanbay Orinbaev expressed his gratitude to the distinguished guest for his visit to Karakalpakstan, emphasizing his readiness to support new initiatives aimed at further expanding cooperation and noting that all necessary conditions will be created for this purpose.
