Work Aimed at Improving Living Conditions in Khodjeyli District Reviewed
Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan Amanbay Orinbaev familiarized himself with ongoing efforts to improve living conditions in the Khodjeyli District.
The visit began in the Tovcha area of the Saryshungil Citizens’ Assembly. It was noted that previously, 149 households in this area had suffered damage caused by termites. This issue has now been resolved, and almost all families have been resettled to safe locations.
Next, he inspected a fish-farming project implemented by Baliq YuK LLC in the Bagman mahalla, as well as the Qirq qiz LLC sewing enterprise operating in the Qumbiz mahalla. Responsible officials were instructed to provide comprehensive practical assistance to entrepreneurs and support their activities.
He also reviewed the work of the private school “Kingsman”, established in the Parvoz mahalla. It was emphasized that the development of private schools, alongside general education institutions, contributes to improving the quality of education, and that such schools should be expanded.
The Chairman then familiarized himself with a livestock project implemented by the Farruxbek Xojeli farm. It was noted that initiatives aimed at creating new jobs should be consistently supported.
To identify unresolved issues and determine ways to address them, a meeting was held with ko‘chaboshi (street heads) and respected aksakals of the district, during which upcoming tasks were outlined.
Following this, a meeting with local activists took place, where matters related to the socio-economic development of the district were discussed.
