International Ethno-Cultural Festival Held in the “Takh-Tepa” Ethno-Village
Today, in the settlement of Beltau in the Takhtakupyr District, the opening ceremony of the International Ethno-Cultural Festival was held in the “Takh-Tepa” ethno-village.
At the event, Chairman of the Jokorgy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan Amanbay Orinbaev delivered a speech and congratulated all those gathered on the opening of the festival.
The ceremony was also attended by Presidential Advisor of the Republic of Uzbekistan T. Khudaibergenov, Chairman of the Council of Ministers F. Ermanov, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan Beybut Atamkulov.
It was noted that for centuries, representatives of various nationalities have lived in our country as a united people, in peace and harmony, contributing significantly to the development of their homeland.
Thanks to the special attention of our esteemed President, extensive construction, renovation, and improvement works have been carried out in Beltau village, giving it a completely new look. The “Takh-Tepa” ethno-village located nearby on the Borchi Tau hill, reflecting our history and national identity, has added even more beauty and unique character to the area.
It is no coincidence that the festival is being held here. The 70 “black yurts” built at the site symbolize the cultural identity of the various peoples living in our country, while the 16 traditional “pakhsа” houses allow visitors to experience the living conditions of our ancestors.
The festival featured a wide range of events: theatrical performances showcasing the national traditions of fraternal peoples, folk dances and songs, traditional games, as well as lively performances of bakhshi and jirov. All of this sparked genuine interest and appreciation among the guests.
The festival, organized at a high level, left a deep impression on both foreign visitors and local residents.
