Festive Ceremony on the Occasion of Granting the Karakalpak Language the Status of a State Language
Today, a festive ceremony dedicated to the 36th anniversary of the adoption of the Law of the Republic of Karakalpakstan “On the State Language,” celebrated on December 1, was held at the Berdak Karakalpak State Academic Musical Theatre.
Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Amanbay Orinbaev, delivered a speech at the event and congratulated the audience on the occasion.
The ceremony was also attended by the Advisor to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, T. Khudaibergenov.
As noted during the event, the native language is not only a means of communication, but also an invaluable heritage that has been passed down to our generations without losing its significance over the centuries. The native language occupies a special place in defining the identity of each nation, as well as the stages of development and future prospects of every country. Therefore, every younger generation must treat its native language with care and ensure its preservation and transmission to future generations in its original form.
In recent years, special attention has been given in our country to preserving and developing the native language, with large-scale and noble initiatives being implemented in this direction.
Undoubtedly, all these efforts are a true expression of profound respect and care for our language.
