A festive event dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held at the Central Amphitheater in Nukus under the motto “One Homeland, One People — Creating a New Life and Future!”

Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan Amanbay Orynbayev addressed the gathering. He warmly congratulated the people of Karakalpakstan on the greatest and most cherished holiday — the 35th anniversary of our country’s Independence.

During the event, it was noted that in recent years, under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, large-scale reforms aimed at further socio-economic development have been implemented in Karakalpakstan, as in all regions of the country. Particular attention is being paid to improving the standard of living and creating decent living conditions for citizens.

In this regard, the separate decrees and resolutions adopted by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and aimed at the further development of Karakalpakstan are of particular importance. The implementation of the measures set out in these documents provides a solid foundation for creating favorable living conditions for the population and ensuring the consistent development of the region.

At the same time, a number of investment projects have been implemented in the republic in the fields of small business and entrepreneurship, industry, services, and agriculture. As a result, new jobs have been created, major production enterprises have been commissioned, and numerous social facilities have been put into operation.

It was also noted that positive results have been achieved across all sectors this year, while efforts to further improve the well-being of the population and ensure decent living conditions are continuing consistently.

The festive event continued with a concert program. Performances by renowned artists and talented young performers, featuring songs and dance compositions dedicated to the Homeland, friendship, peace and harmony, as well as youth, created a festive atmosphere and brought joy to those attending the celebration.
